Stan was good friends with Marty Halseth. Both were on the swim team. In the summer of 70, he would visit Marty at Robindell pool where we were life guarding. He was working in a hospital and had seen some bad cases in ER. He would bring his twelve string guitar and play Paul Simon songs. I was envious. I can play chords but he could really play. He was very good. He had a funny laugh. He was a very nice, sensitive, funny guy.
